Tab - PCGS MS64 - “Tunnel Vision”
In order to not obstruct the front of a coin, albums that had tabs tended to place those tabs on the back of each page. As a result, the vast majority of toners that did develop tab-toning have the characteristic line of untoned space on the reverse of the coin instead of the obverse. To find an obverse toned example is surprisingly difficult, and this particular coin here is a monochromatic blueberry tab toner at that! The color is remarkably vibrant for a paper toner, and doesn’t lose its color very much even when tilted at an angle like the majority of toners do.
