Bold color graces the entire obverse of this cool crescent toned Morgan, including the crescent area itself which is toned in with a light peach and powder blue. Perhaps the coin that initially sat over the crescent area moved off the surface of this coin, exposing that area to then continue to tone along with the rest of the coin. There are a few toning breaks to note on the cheek and hair, but the colors themselves are very smooth, with strong luster adding to the overall eye appeal. The reverse is very clean and mostly untoned.
